What The Panda smells like
Bergamot does the lifting at the start, and it does not last long. What arrives underneath is the point: ylang-ylang first, creamy and almost banana-sweet, then lily giving it height and orange blossom rounding off the edges. For the first half hour it is unapologetically tropical.
Then it changes. Amber, sandalwood and vanilla come up through the flowers and the whole thing settles into something warm rather than sugary.
