Description

• A unique and highly attractive bait for use by amateurs that can kill rodents in a single feed. Formulated from a blend of premium grade cereals and added attractants to give proven efficacy in the most difficult environments, in and around buildings. Sapphire Grain 25 contains the single feed active ingredient Brodifacoum on an oat grain which can control mice and rats in 1 feed.
• The bait is produced using the freshest and highest quality ingredients to ensure rodents are lured to the baits quickly and infestations controlled fast. The strength of Sapphire Grain offers the user a great solution to control large infestations of rodents when other baits might not work.
• All rodenticides should only be used in a lockable bait box and we recommend when using around poultry and pets, that you take every precaution to ensure that grain cannot come into contact with other creatures via discarded grain or grain that a rodent may have carried out of the bait box and left on the ground.
• Medium to high infestations require a number of bait points. Bait refills may be required to replenish any bait taken. Once bait-take has stopped, the infestation has been controlled, so bait must be withdrawn from the bait stations and disposed of correctly. Sapphire Grain must be used with a secured tamper-proof bait station.
• Active ingredient: 0.005% Brodifacoum. Always read the label and product information before use.
• 3kg Tubs are also available, along with the smaller Individual 150g Pouches and 10 x 150g Display Packs (both are approved for Amateur-Use and do not require any certification).

PROFESSIONAL USE PRODUCT:

• To be used only by professional users holding certification demonstrating compliance with UK rodenticide stewardship regime requirements. Read the label before use. Using the product in a manner that is inconsistent with the label may be an offence. Refer to the CRRU UK Code of Best Practice (or equivalent) for guidance. When this product is supplied to a user for the control of rodents, it shall only be supplied to a professional user holding certification demonstrating compliance with UK rodenticide stewardship regime requirements.

How to Use:

• Check for signs of activity in and around buildings. This can be burrows or runs. Rats are very cautious and will run beside buildings and look to hide in any cover that might offer them a form of safety.
• Place tamperproof bait stations every 5-10m apart where there are signs of rodent activity and in areas where rodents would feel safe and not exposed.
• Place 2 x 25g of Sapphire Grain into each of the bait stations.
• Check the bait 5-7 days after the first treatment and replenish any bait taken.
• Search for, remove and dispose of any dead rodents that are found.
• It is advisable to wear protective clothing when handling any rodenticide or poison and also when disposing of any dead rodents.
